Science-Based, 8 Week Mindfulness Training Program

In this mindfulness-based training, you will learn the science behind meditation and mindfulness.  As a participant, you will access and grow your natural capacity to stop patterns of worry, ruminating, and feelings of anxiety.  Additionally, this group program answers the questions:

Why should I meditate? What is the Science behind Mindfulness?

What are the Foundational Blocks of Mindfulness?

How to become the observer of your own experience, instead of being subject to it.

How compassion, both of oneself and others, can help heal feelings of anxiety and sadness.

Mindful Goal Setting: How to balance future focus with the ``hear and now``.

The Ego, the Self and the Observer. How to separate yourself from your story.

Pillars of Mindfulness is an 8 week, Mindfulness Training group. Here, participants will be guided through experiential and actively engaging exercises & meditations. There will be take-home activities each week, with accountability discussions at the beginning of each new session. Our final week includes an integration session where each member then plans for future “next steps”.
